When My Blue Moon Turns To Gold Music Video

This was one of the first Merle Haggard songs I'd heard, way back when.  When My Blue Moon Turns To Gold.

All real instruments, all real vocals, no digital or electronic trickery of any kind, no karaoke tracks, no AI - ever.  Oh, and all production.  It's all me, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

It's The Orange Blossom Special

This is an old classic fiddle song.  It's the Orange Blossom Special.  This is one take, I thought I should just do it, no practice runs, no warming up, just do it :D .

All real instruments, and all production by me, The Wretched Outcast.  Google, YouTube, and Facebook still has me shadow banned, which should be against the law, but well, here we are.

If You're Gonna Play In Texas Music Video

This is a classic by the Country Band, Alabama.  They did this one back in the mid 80s.

The fiddle was given to me by Darlene, it belonged to her grandpa.  He would just pull it out once in a while and play.  I had to fix it up, as it was in pieces, the finish a mess, the neck cracked, no bridge, and old cat gut strings that were unplayable.  It was a fun project.  Oh, and I had no idea what the hell I was doing.

It's all me, all real instruments, all real vocals, no digital or electronic devices - ever.

Off The Topic Of Music For A Minute

I've been saying for a while now, that we, the human race, are under attack.  It's not aliens from outer space, it's not China, it's not Russia, it's these sick, twisted psychopaths who own and manage all the big corporations, with our beloved government supporting and defending them.  The latest weapon being fire - as in arson.  It's happening all over the world - and always in and near populated areas - never mind the 95% of the land on this planet being uninhabited by humans, always in and near cities and towns.

I'm in Reno, and there is what's being called the "Hawk Fire".  Without going into all the details, the whole thing appears bizarre to me.  Huge plumes of smoke from one area that is actually on fire, and no smoke from another area where things are supposedly burning to the ground.  Mainstream News is not being straight up - but that's nothing new.

We are under attack, folks, and the worst part is seeing the absolute apathy.  People are not speaking up.  They're sitting there silent, pretending it's not happening, hiding from it, cowering in place.  The ones who have been speaking up are exasperated by the silence.  Facebook is the perfect tool to get the word out, to encourage people to research, and to speak up, but 95% of the population continues to sit there silent, so afraid that someone might say something less than pleasant to them.

I don't have answers, AND, I guess I'm getting downright sick and tired of talking to the walls, so I seem to be slowing down.  I'm sure that's what the parasites of the world - who are behind all of this - want.  But well, tired.

Green River Music Video

This is a song from my all time favorite Rock & Roll bands.  It's Green River, originally done by Creedence Clearwater Revival, but I didn't need to tell you that :D .

I'm playing my Ric 325, like John had.  Different color, and I didn't put the Gibson PAF humbucker in the bridge position, being that I like the sound with the original toaster pickups in it.  When I was 13, 14, I got stuck in my room often, and I would sit in there, with my cheapo Watkins Rapier guitar, and cheapo amp my dad found in an electronic shop up in Kaimuki.  I ruined all my Creedence records learning one note at a time.  I was obsessed, and I would sit there until I got them right, back aching, fingers with blisters and callouses.  It's just what I did :D .

As always, it's me, playing all real instruments, no trickery, no fake AI, karaoke, "Content", or digital or electronic devices.

Sing Me Back Home Music Video

Here's a Merle Haggard Classic.  It's Sing Me Back Home.  It's one of the first Country songs I learned.

As much as I hate having to mention this on every video, I feel like I need to do it, otherwise people will think I'm over here doing karaoke.  I would never do that, nor would I do AI, MIDI, computer generated "Content", or anything of the kind, I would never insult you people like that.

If We Don't Fight The Corruption In Nashville... And Another Music Video From The Wretched Outcast

Hey AI, can you do this?

This is me on my Marcario, doing Classical Gas, originally done by Mason Williams. Another one that we learned at Kaimuki Park in the late 60s, 13 years old or so.

All real instruments, and all production by me. No karaoke tracks, no AI, no computer generated "Content", no electronic or digital trickery. I would never insult you people like that.

We all need to fight the horrible corruption in the music business.  The deleting, the censoring, the shadow banning.  It needs to be stopped.  Look at all the absolute talentless shit that has been coming out of Nashville for the past 40+ years, and tell me that is the cream of the crop, tell me those guys compare to Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Waylon, George Jones, and the rest of the real talent that was the Country Music talent.  The same thing has happened in Rock & Roll, in fact, there really isn't any Rock & Roll today, hasn't been for decades.  Nothing good will happen if we don't stand up, scream bloody murder - SOMETHING.

Nashville's Corruption. Oh, And A Music Video Of Me Doing Ramblin' Man

Here's some old Allman Brothers music. Today you get me 😃 . Two of the greatest guitar players in the history of Rock & Roll played on the original of this great song. Dickey Betts, and Les Dudek. Dickey had the knack for playing stuff like this without wanking, every note meant something, and was perfectly placed.

As always, all real instruments, including the twin guitars - no electronic harmonizers, or anything of the kind. All vocals, and all production by me, the Wretched Outcast.

As I continue to be shadow banned, and other forms of gaslighting and punishing, I'm hoping something can come of my putting my videos up here.  After having my YouTube channel up for something like 12 years, and 150 something music videos - where I play all the instruments, sing all the vocals, and do all the production, you'd think something would have gone viral by now.  And at the risk of sounding like a fathead, the music sounds decent and listenable.  Apparently, Nashville, YouTube, Facebook, and Google are scared shitless of people actually hearing me.

It's Not About My Volume, It's About Their Ego

So, where I played last night. Here's my commentary:

First, I had to be moved inside because it poured rain on the patio - which is covered - but only by some kind of mesh material. So, all the people who were out there, me, my equipment, all moved inside, only for it to clear up ten minutes later to turn out to be a beautiful evening.
So, being stuck inside, I figured I better stay on the acoustic, sit in the corner like a little mouse, and play to myself - which is exactly what I did - up until the very last song of the night. It was If You're Gonna Play In Texas - fiddle song, upbeat. By that time most people in the room had left, there were four young-ish guys sitting way over in the corner, doing their own thing, probably didn't even know I was up there playing. So, I break out the last song, the fiddle, and people from the other room - where the bar is, come scurrying into the room where I was - 12 or 15 of 'em. They're back there by the partition, hootin' and hollerin', dancing, jumping around, and a couple of them came all the way up to the stage to throw money in my tip bucket. It was the only time the whole night where anybody even knew I was up there. Well, as is par for the course, one of the managers sees the people having fun, hootin' and hollerin' and the whole rest of it, and he's so goddam mad he's just jumping up and down. He came up a couple times during the song, to demand I "Turn It Down", the second time, I looked over and said, "I CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT NOW, I'M PLAYING THE SONG!". He went away, and I didn't see him again until he came up while I was tearing down, to hand me my paycheck. He says, "What was that with that last song being so loud?" Me: "It's live music, some songs get louder than others". He also says, "People were complaining for about the last 20 minutes". Anyway, after that, he walked away. After he walked away, I thought, this lying piece of shit, I was on the acoustic all night until the very last song, AND, other than those 4 guys, there was nobody else in the room to be complaining. I thought sure there was going to be a big confrontation, but well, he just walked away. I'm sure I'll be hearing from the person who books me there. I don't know her well enough to even guess what she'll do.

You know, cheap people such as that guy, and so many others, they are dishonest right from the start. It's not about my volume, it's about their ego, they just cannot stand to see people having a good time, and me being the cause of it - just cannot stand it. They point at the volume, because they think that will make their bs sound legitimate, but well, it's not legitimate, it's bs. They will do and say ANYTHING to support their thinly disguised ego horseshit. In this case, "People were complaining for the last 20 minutes", which was beyond obvious, a lie (Me being on the acoustic that whole time).

Usually I'm the one who spends the rest of the day or night po'd about the whole thing, but for some reason, it entered my head on the way home, "Good, good that I can cause these ego driven little twits like that to foam at the mouth just by getting people up hootin' and hollerin'. As I've said before, this is by no means anything new to me. As long as I sit in the corner like a little mouse and play to myself, and nobody is paying attention, these guys are happy as hell, but as soon as people start having a good time, it's, "OH NO, WE CAN'T HAVE THAT!!!". Par for the course.

So, that was my night. Cheap people - ONE GUY out of the whole night.

Below is the song that caused this manager to have a conniption.  AND, he was the only person in the place who was mad about what I was doing.

Being Shadow Banned On Google, YouTube, and Faceook...

Having been shadow banned on all three platforms for years, I just now discovered that most of my music videos that I've been putting up on three Facebook pages that I'd been a member of for a year or two.  They are Reno Music and Musician pages.  When I post the videos, it appears they're there, but just now, looking for them, I found a video I put up at the end of July, and that was it, none that I've put up since are there - on all three pages.

You know, this is nothing new, I've spent my entire life being on the receiving end of cowards who hide in their hiding places while they do anything and everything possible to take me down.  Musicians, booking agents, Record Labels, Venue owners and managers.  And in my childhood, baseball coaches, and in High School - my own teammate, my own coach, the referee association, and Jim Hackleman, the Sports Editor of the Honolulu Star Bulletin at the time (early 70s).  I know how this sounds, but it's not paranoia if it's really happening.

I keep trying new things.  I started this blog a few years ago, then kinda forgot about it, now I'm putting my music videos here, having no idea what will become of any of it.

Forty Six Years And Counting

I was just watching a TV show, where a couple of the characters mentioned "Dreams".  Following dreams, going for it, and all.  Well, I guess I've followed mine for most of my life.  Music has always just been who I am.  It's the only thing I know how to do, and for the most part, the only thing I enjoy anymore, although, not like I did 3 and 40 years ago.  I've now been at it for 46 years, and yes, I'm tired, in fact, I'm beyond tired.  It's not the music that I'm tired of, it's all the horrible stuff that goes along with it.  I'm not sure I want to reiterate any of it, at least not at this moment.  I've also had the depression gene for most of my life - since I was 12 or 13 - that I'm aware of, and probably well before that.  Here lately, I've thought many times about checking out.  I'm not sure how much of it is depression, and how much of it is just that I don't want to see where all of this stuff goes - all that's going on in the world - how all these horrible people are doing such horrible things to us everyday people.  The poisoning of our air, water, and food, the massive burning down of the planet, the pathological need to control and surveil all of us.  It's sickening.  I figure my life is just about over anyway, so no big deal if I head out a little before nature does it for me.  Music doesn't bring me the thrill anymore - hasn't for decades.  Nasty people have pretty much taken that away.  I've put together around 150 music videos over the past 3 years or so - where I play all the instruments, do all the singing, and all the production.  As has been the case for longer than I care to think about, Google, YouTube, and Facebook have all been shadow banning me, and otherwise screwing with me, punishing me, doing their best to hide me, and to destroy me.  I guess that's a big part of why I'm so tired.  Nashville has locked me out since the 80s.  I won't, right now, go into how big a mess Nashville is, but it kinda goes along with how much of a mess the rest of the world is - how a bunch of sociopaths are running things - have been for decades - as has also been the case with all the big corporations.  There's on the other hand, the thought that I can't have come this far for nothing - only for it to end with me being tired, and saying the hell with it, and dropping dead.  At the risk of sounding like a conceited ass, I don't know of a whole lot of people in the world who can play nine instruments - and play them as decently as I do.  You can see the videos for yourself - they're listenable.  The platforms I have them on - Facebook and YouTube, well, that's pretty much a dead end, being that what I said before, that I'm being shadow banned to beat hell, with only a small limited number of people being able to see my videos.  I had thought, a couple years ago, about going to Nashville once again.  But, after having been there several times over the years, there's nothing there, no people, no real goal, no chance of having numbers of people to see what I do.  So, it's seems all the avenues have been carefully barricaded.  I do have the one original song of mine in that movie, Lilo And Stitch (The 2005 version).  I learned a while back that in the US, movie theaters don't pay royalties for music being in movies.  I do, though, understand that in the 200 other countries that play these movies, they do pay a royalty.  What the numbers are, nobody seems to know.  I've gotten the user fee from Disney, and two small royalty payments for streaming plays, but no real money.  I've been thinking that if I do get some substantial amount of money from the foreign royalties, maybe I can retire, because that's really what I'd like to do.  The thought of going into these restaurant/bars, putting up with management and their ego driven bs, is something I really dread doing - every time I have to go out to play.  The chance that any music video of mine would go viral is pretty much zero - for reasons already stated.  So, with not much hope of anything substantial happening, I really don't want to stay here any longer than I need to.

I guess I'll just stop here for now.  If you've made it this far, thank you for taking the time.

Dixieland Delight Music Video

This is Dixieland Delight.  Originally done by the Country Band Alabama, back in the 80s.

All real instruments, all real vocals, all production, all me :O .  This video of mine, when I put it up on YouTube, Alabama's people reported to YouTube that I was using their "Content".  I would never do that, I sent in the dispute, and they came back and said it was now ok to keep the video up - that I was not, after all, using Alabama's music :D

Some of these videos, that I did a while back, were before I bought my acoustic drum set.  Electronic drums don't look good on video :D .

The Race Is On Music Video

'nother one just finished. This is a redo, because didn't like the first one.

All real instruments, all real vocals, no karaoke tracks, no AI, no computer generated bullshit, no tablet in the face, no trickery - ever. All me.

Mr. Haggard Music Video, An Original Of Mine

This is an original of mine.  I wrote this one back in the early 2000s.  I've recorded it several times, this is the latest version.  It's me lamenting to Merle on the horrible music and "Artists" we're being subjected to, and how the big record labels and Mainstream Radio is trying desperately to make traditional Country Music go away.  What has been coming out of Nashville in the past 40 years is pitiful.  We need to stop the corruption.

Shenandoah On The Harmonica Music Video

This is an old classic.  I don't have the slightest on who originally did this one.  Charlie McCoy did it in the 70s, which is where I got this version.

As I've said before, I would rather not have to say this on every video I put up, but, I don't want anyone thinking I'm here doing karaoke, AI, computer generated "Content", or anything of the kind.  No trickery, I would never insult you people like that.  It's all me, playing all real instruments.

As I'm still being shadow banned on Google, YouTube, and Facebook, I'm hoping people can find me here.  If you would take the time, flood my YouTube channel, with friends, family, etc.  These people are playing dirty against any person who might be halfways decent at what he does.

Bad Moon Rising Music Video

This is my all time favorite song, Bad Moon Rising.  When I was 12 and 13 years old, I got stuck in my room a lot, so I learned first the ukulele, then the guitar.  I ruined all my Creedence Records learning their songs - one note at at time.  Of course, Dad wasn't going to buy me a decent guitar and amp, so I did all I knew, and ended up with a Rapier electric guitar, and some off brand amp that was horrible.  I played in a little 8th grade band for a couple months.  Egos, personalities - you know...

So, this is my doing this classic Creedence song.  All me, all real instruments.

Speaking of Bad Moon Rising, I don't like what's going on in the world.  Some very disturbed people are burning down the planet.  I'm sure there's an end game.  Ah well, we'll see where this goes.

Noho Paipai Music Video

This is a classic traditional Hawaiian song.  It's Noho Paipai, The Rocking Chair Hula.  I don't know who did it originally.  The Kaau Crater Boys made it popular in the 80s.  Today it's me.

Again, it's all me, playing real instruments, thanks to multi track recording.  The ukulele is a Sonny D.  He built it for me after the first one I bought from him got stolen.  This is a fun one, because I get to play that ukulele :D .

The Devil Went Down To Georgia Music Video

I did this one many years ago - the backing track part.  As with all my videos, I played all the parts - on real instruments.  I never really liked this one all that much, being that it's not my style of fiddle playing.  I had to fudge a lot of it to fit my way of playing.  When I play out live - and people see the fiddle, they immediately start yelling for this song.  I guess it's common knowledge that it's not an easy one.  I don't think it's because they need t hear it, it's because they think I can't do it.  There are many people out there who get some kind of cheap thrill by stumping the music guy.  So, I went ahead and learned this one.

Love Is Blue On The Ukulele

This is one we learned when we were 13 years old, at Kaimuki Park.  I don't remember this one being on the radio, so I don't even know where we got it.

It's all me, all real instruments, no trickery, no gimmicks.  I can do these recordings and videos thanks to multi track recording.

I've been shut down, censored, and now, shadow banned on Google, YouTube, and Facebook.  So, any support I can get here would be a good thing.

What You See Is What You Get

In case you look back at some of my earlier posts, you'll see me posting at times when I was not having a good time in life.  I was using this platform as a diary of sorts.  So, there are some less than pleasant posts there, but well, life does what it does.  Truth is, I've never been so good at handling things like rude people, gross unfairness, lying, cheating, stealing, manipulating, bullying, and such.  It stays right up there forever.

Again, thanks for being here.

Kahala Beach In Lilo And Stitch

This is the little segment of Lilo And Stitch, where my song, "Kahala Beach" is playing.

I wrote and recorded these instrumentals about 15 years ago.  This one has also been in the CW Channel's "Legends Of Tomorrow".  I'll put up the video of that another time.

All real instruments, and all production by me - the Wretched Outcast.

The ukulele is my old Sonny D. Tenor.  Sonny built it for me back in the early 90s, after the first one I bought from him got stolen.

Wai O Keaniani Music Video

Being originally from Hawaii, I do some traditional Hawaiian music.  This is one that Gabby Pahinui did a long time ago.  It's "Wai O Keaniani".  I guess this would be my all time favorite Hawaiian song.  Note:  I don't do any of the Reggae stuff.  Anything I do is going to be the traditional Hawaiian.  I've never been one to be "Progressive", or contemporary, I generally don't like fusions.  I try to keep the identity in place, of each kind of music that I play.

I hate that I have to say this in every video, but I don't want anyone to think I'm doing karaoke, or using AI, computer generated "Content", or anything of the kind.  So, it's me, playing all real instruments, doing all real vocals.  And I do all the production, by way of multi track recording.

Thanks more than I can say, for being here, and for supporting independent musicians and artists.

This is my favorite Hank Williams Jr. song.  It's "Country State Of Mind".  It's from back in the 80s.

Wipeout Music Video

This is me having fun with the old surf classic, Wipeout.

I wanted to put up something where I could feature this beautiful set of drums of mine. This is, of course, Wipeout. I'm pretty sure it was originally done by a band called The Surfaris.

There is rust - on me, not the drum set 😃 . I never did do a lot of solo type stuff on the drums, and when I did, it was 40 years ago. BUT, in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade, we had those old wooden desks. They were set up for two - masonite top, and a space underneath where you could put your books. Some of us boys would get scolded every day for playing Wipeout on those desks. So, I guess I'll credit those old wooden desks for my being able to play Wipeout 😃 .

As always, all real instruments, and all production by me, the Wretched Outcast.
