Western Society Has Perverted… Well, Most Things

Yes, Western Society has very well perverted so many things. It starts way up there at the top, where the Chosen Few, the greedy, the ruthless, the people who aspire to positions of power, so they can use that to cause grief and loss for other people.

Let’s look at the word, “Coward”, for starters. We are to believe that cowardice is defined by what a person is afraid of. Everyone is afraid of something, some of our fears are realistic, others are phobias. Our self preservation mechanism is designed to protect our safety and our life. An abused woman is afraid of leaving her abuser, for fear of more harm, or worse – does this make her a coward – I don’t think so. I small kid is afraid of a bigger kid – does this make him a coward – no, it doesn’t. A student is afraid to speak his mind against a teacher or professor, for fear of retaliation, either through school means, or in the case of a younger student, fear of the parent – coward? No, don’t think so. You’re driving, you’re taunted by some sniveling little dimwit in a BMW, you figure he’s got his lawyer on speed dial, you walk away – who is the coward here? You’re in a situation where a gun is pointed at your face, you do what you’re told, are you a coward, no, in fact, the coward is the one holding the gun, in all these situations, the coward is the one hiding behind his weapon of choice, in order to cause grief and/or loss for another person. I understand the etymology – tail between the legs and all that, but from where I sit, that applies much less to the extremely fearful person, and much more to the one holding the gun. Everyone knows that where a bully is concerned, as soon as the playing field becomes level, the gun toting punk will slink away – with his tail between his legs. This has caused much of the mental instability in this country. We are all told that we must handle every situation like Chuck Norris, Clint Eastwood, and Superman would. The fact is, if you, in the real world, do anything the way any one of those guys do, you would be in prison so fast, you wouldn’t even know what hit you – in fact, if any one of THEM did what they do on TV, they would also be in prison – well, maybe not, being that they have unlimited financial resources, not to mention their celebrity status. But you get the point. So, all the little American boys who watch Chuck Norris movies, who are told they must "Kick ass", and other such nonsense, when they don't handle a situation they way Hollywood and the media says they should, they feel violated, emasculated, and frustrated; and at some point, this causes the boy to want to wreak revenge, he gets a gun, builds a bomb, straps on a knife, and goes on a rampage - the kind of rampage that is so common these days.

Western society has also perverted any and all economic systems. Let’s take Capitalism. Capitalism is theoretically a good system, but as always, the Chosen Few, the ruthless, the vindictive, they exploit the system, and they exploit as many people as they possibly can – usually the masses. If all people would take what they need, and leave the rest alone, Capitalism would work just fine, but as we all know, it never works that way – there are always those greedy, self serving parasites who are never happy no matter how much they have – AND, they seem to get some kind of sick pleasure from the pain and suffering that they inflict on other people. How’ bout Socialism, I’d bet that that system could also work. It has never worked because again again, the greedy and the ruthless will throw a few crumbs to the masses, and gain total control over them. If every person was allowed to have, for the taking, what they need to live comfortably, Socialism would work just fine. From all I’ve read, our Native American Indian folk lived this way; add to that, they had a whole lot more respect for nature than the people who occupy this space today do. I understand that there are some tribal people in obscure countries who live by this, we don’t hear about them, for obvious reasons, but I understand they don’t have the murder rates that we have, and they don’t have the mental illness rates that are in epidemic proportions in this country.

These are but only two of the major things that Western Society, namely the ruthless parasites who are at the top of the food chain, have perverted and exploited for their own personal gain, and their own personal cheap satisfaction at the pain and suffering they cause for millions of people – people who are doing nothing but trying to live their little lives.

What makes such things even worse is the tendency for people in general to ignore what goes on around them. In their mind, it’s easier to simply accept the status quo, hide behind such idiotic cliches as, “Let’s all be positive and move forward”. These things fester, we continue to ignore it all, and our lives continue to get worse and worse. I challenge any person who lives in the real world to look me in the eye and tell me things are better, or even as good, as they were 30 years ago. You would think that with all our technology and so called “Progress”, that life would be exponentially better, well, it’s not, it’s much worse, people are angrier than they’ve been in my lifetime, people have much less money, they are glued to their electronic devices and controlled by them, and even spied on by them. We are being poisoned by the food industry and Big Pharmaceutical, and we are being sprayed with aluminum oxide by planes that do this right up there in plain sight. Our money is being literally stolen by Big Insurance, Big Oil, Big Retail, Big Fast Food, and we are all playing right into their hands. We are given cheap entertainment – which gets cheaper and more vulgar with every day that goes by. P.T. Barnum said it perfectly, “There’s one born every minute”.

There are many other societal and life issues that have been perverted and exploited by the Powers That Be – guns, morality, the mind, food, music, art, family values, business practices, social interaction, and many more, and as long as we sit by, ignoring and denying, hiding behind such horrid nonsense that is and continues to be perpetuated by our Pop Psychology Crowd – the “Professionals” who feed us B.S. in the form of “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy”, and “Mindfulness”, we will continue to spiral downward, until our once great country is completely destroyed. As we can all see, but many deny, jobs, the ability to start and maintain a true small business, families, and lives are being destroyed as we speak. In case some don’t know this, or we forgot, every empire in the history of the world has been destroyed by greed, lust for power, and sadistic tendencies that are so rampant among the Rich and the Powerful, and I don’t see this one being any different, or with any different result. How does that saying go, “If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got”.

I have no answers, but I do have suggestions. The only way to fight the Rich and the Powerful is to hit them in their pocketbook. So, while it may be difficult, support true small businesses, support those roving farmers' markets, barter whenever possible, grow your own food whenever possible, ride a bicycle whenever possible, and come up with your own ideas. Of course, we all live in the real world, and it is not possible to completely revert to old school ways, but if we all make a concerted effort, we can start with baby steps – and maybe begin to head in the direction of good, fair, kind, compassionate, and where the masses will benefit, instead of handing over everything we work for, including our freedom, to the Powers That Be.

Hypocricy And Self Servitude At Its Finest

Thank you, Lord, for sending those people to kill those four Americans in Libya. While I'm thinking about it, thank you for sending us those murderers who killed 3000 innocent people 11 years ago, and thank you so much for orchestrating the millions of deaths that all those people had to endure in all those senseless wars in the history of the world. Also, thank you for allowing the thousands of people, including men, women, and children, just yesterday across the planet, to die horrible deaths from disease, starvation, car accidents, and violence. Thank you, almighty God, for all the freaks of the world who are molesting little boys and girls as I write this, ruining the lives of these innocent little people. And last but not least, let's all thank God for half the football fans this past Monday, who lost their football games, whose teams did not pray hard enough to get what they wanted.

Most will see this as mocking and ridiculing, and probably blasphemous. For me, what's blashpemous is the constant denial of reality, the defending and excusing of evil and evil people. I detest all those clever cliches that are designed to keep us quiet, to keep us thinking that we should be thankful for all the abuses that the evil people of the world are forcing onto us, and/or to keep us looking at all the "good" things, while ignoring the bad. This continues to work very well for such people - the parasites of the world.

So, for those of you who see Monday Night Football and your Budweiser as being the most important part of your life, go back to what you were doing, and just let this crap continue. And, for those of you who mindlessly enjoy your daily bible thumping sessions, get right back on that, because it's worked so well all throughout history in solving the problems of the world.

On The Wrong End Of "isms"...

After two years of being mostly out of work, I’m beginning to wonder if I may have reached the point in time where I’m just too old to be doing this music thing.  I watch some of the modern acts on TV, and I hear them whenever I’m within earshot of a jukebox or radio.  My observation is that everything is geared towards the youngsters – most department stores, most coffee shops, most clothing stores, most bars and restaurants, and, my main point – music.  I just heard back from an agent who books cruise ships.  I communicated with him a couple of times, told him what I did, and what I didn’t do – basically that I don’t do anything that was recorded after about 1985.  I also told him why – one, that in all my years of being in the business, I never got any requests for any of it, and two, every bone in my body says it’s not for me.  He informed me that anybody they hire for those cruise ships will need to know lots of the modern pop music.  One of the things I thought, was that most who go on those cruises are 40 and over.  In fact, in my experience, the only ones who ever tried to dictate what bands and solos play are the management, entertainment directors, and booking agents – these are people who claim to know what people want, but in reality, they are the least informed, and the most egotistical.  Ever how twisted and stupid it is, this is the way of the world, and me, being one little nobody, I really have no control over it, I don’t make the rules, I just have to live by them.  Oh yeah, and I will never sell out, I will never be a contrived, phony, money mongering whore.  Don’t get me wrong, I still make music, because it’s who I am, but I guess at this point, I don’t have a lot of faith that anything will ever happen for me in this horribly corrupt business that is so full of “isms”, and so full of corruption.

I continue to watch the world, the human race, swirl down the proverbial (and metaphorical) toilet – in just about every way – morally, economically, care and/or compassion for other people; everything is about me, as in, “What do I get out of this, how does anything and everything I do benefit me?”.  My dad said shortly before he died, “I’m glad my life is almost over”, and I guess I feel the same.

A few years ago, I saw this video – it’s Joshua Bell, world class violinist, playing in a subway station:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyrS0GZdFps .  What I gathered from it was that most people will not recognize real talent, real art, or much of any real anything – without the expensive hype that is used to trick people into buying something that they otherwise wouldn’t, and most of the time, wouldn’t need.  Albert Einstein also pointed this out when he said, “Few are those who see with their own eyes, and feel with their own hearts”.  It’s very sad that this is what humans have devolved into.  I’ve been in art galleries, where there would be things hanging on the wall that made no sense to me, didn’t look like anything, and didn’t incite any emotion of any kind – with price tags of thousands of dollars.  On the other hand, I’ve been to sidewalk art shows, and “Art In The Park” shows – where some of the art there was out of this world – of things we would all recognize, things that struck a nerve, or a heartstring – for most people – with price tags of ten and twenty bucks.  I’ve seen street performers, as well as guys who only play in their back yard for their own enjoyment, who could play and sing circles around most mainstream “Artists” with very little effort.

I’m not familiar with how the rest of the art world works, but I do, from firsthand experience, know a few things about the music business.  Sometime in the 90s, I went to a “Songwriters’ Seminar” somewhere in the Virginia/DC area.  The main speaker was a guy named Gary McCarty – he was some big time program director for one of the major FM radio stations on the east coast.  After he presented his spiel, they passed the mic around for Q & A.  When it was my turn, I presented Mr. McCarty with this, “Mr. McCarty, since radio requests and record sales no longer have anything to do with what is #1, #2, and #10, can you tell us what does?”.  Well, he danced around, did the jig, hemmed, hawed, double talked, and stammered for a good five minutes, and never did answer my question.  You see, this is just another glaring example of how the mainstream music business is not straight up – it makes up its own rules as they go, making said rules to profit, profit, and profit some more.  Here’s another little story:  Sometime in the early 80s, I contacted a booking agent who worked out of Montana – he booked a circuit in the California/Oregon/Washington/Idaho/Utah/Colorado/Arizona/New Mexico area.  In those days, there were what was known as “A Rooms”, and “B Rooms” – the A rooms being the nice, upscale places, while the B rooms were more of the smaller dance halls and bars.  Of course, the good bands worked the A rooms, and the lesser quality bands worked the B rooms – as it should be.  Anyway, I presented my spiel to this agent.  He asked at one point, “What kind of country music do you do?”.  I replied, “Traditional country, Outlaw Country – the old stuff”.  He said, nobody wants to hear that, you need to be commercial and contemporary, there is only one band that does that, and they only get away with it because they’ve built such a monster following…”.  I guess he wasn’t thinking, but damn, he spelled it right out – the one band had a monster following – why, because of magic?  NO, it was because if done well, the people like that old stuff.

Here’s still another story:  I was listening to a local talk show, when the guest speaker was a guy who owned one of the major record labels in Hawaii – the guy’s name was John DeMello, of Mountain Apple Records.  I called in, and amazingly I got through.  I asked, “Do you guys actually look for new artists or bands?”.  He replied, “Yes, of course we do, we are always looking for new talent”.  I replied, “Well, I sent you a CD, and a couple weeks later you sent it back with the nice little form letter, saying something about how you loved the CD, but were unable to take on any new artists, the CD STILL IN THE CELLOPHANE WRAPPER”.  He started on a rant, which is where my main point is – he said, “What you musicians don’t understand is that most of the artists and bands we sign never even recover the money we spend on putting out their CD, and promoting them”.  You see, another one who wasn’t thinking when he opened his mouth.  The bad thing is that all of the major record labels have this horrible habit of signing the copycat artists and bands – ones who mimic everything that comes out on the radio – stating, “You GOT to be commercial”, and other such horseshit.  They never look for anything different, fresh, or unique; AND, when something does by some fluke, slip through the cracks, even though they fought it tooth and nail before the fact, they would then jump on the bandwagon, claiming they supported it the whole time – and then proceed to look for “Artists” and bands who are now mimicking the new sound.  This has been the MO since the early 80s – at least in the country music side of things.

Not sure if the masses are aware of this fact, but Billboard Magazine is who dictates what goes on on the radio (#1, #2, and #10), who gets signed, who gets promoted, and even who wins the “Awards”.  It’s known as radio’s “Bible”.  Mainstream radio and the major record labels are a very exclusive and iron clad Good Ol’ Boy network.  One other little fact, my dad worked in radio from the late 50s till the early 80s, and one of the things he told me was that any unsolicited music that arrived at the front desk either through the mail or hand delivered, was to be thrown straight into the trash.


I often wonder where the laws against monopoly are, and the conflict of interest laws that state it’s against the law to own a radio station and a record label – being that it’s common knowledge that it’s all the same people who own the whole conglomeration.  I’ve said this before, but here it is again – I’ve seen quite a few documentaries where the record biz people are screaming and whining about the dismal “Unit” sales – blaming piracy and free downloading for their own ineptitude and all their “isms” (Nepotism, buddyism, cronyism, etc.).  Meanwhile, the publicist side of the biz continues to spread their lies – lies disguised as advertising, using every psychological trick in the book to sell, sell, sell.  To add injury to insult, the only place you can hear the old classic music is on obscure stations that don’t get advertised, and are mostly pushed back into the wash of nothing.  It’s easy for record labels to find mediocre “Artists” and bands, and easy to crank out mediocre songs, as opposed to finding artists and bands that have any real talent and ability, and songs that are worth something.

Of the national country acts, I’ve yet to see one who can hit more than about 2/3rds of the notes – and that’s on a good day, and there are two guys out there now who can actually play their guitars – the rest – they don’t even meet the basics – can’t hit most of the notes they try to sing, and the guitars are nothing more than props.  Oh, and the worst part – they are SO desperate to be “Cool”, with their fake southern accents, their silly cowboy hats, and their ridiculous “Moves”.  Elvis didn’t have a choreographer, and I never saw him trying to be “Cool”, same goes for Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Dolly, George Jones, or just about any of the old timers.  But, just about every one of ‘em that appeared after about 1985 – they look ridiculous, and can't sing or play.  Even more disgusting is the way the youngsters eat it up – doing so as a result of all the psychological games that these corporate giants use to sell their inferior products.

As for me, I’ve been trying, for almost two years, to get agents to take just a few minutes to watch my demo videos (one click), and so far, not a single one has even had the decency to acknowledge me.  I’ve contacted agents and entertainment directors here in Reno, and I’ve contacted agents who book national and regional tours – for both major and minor acts, and again, not a single one has gotten back to me one way or another.  For the record, if I should get on a tour, or any of my songs get major airplay, and if I get the same hype that any of the other major artists get, and the people don’t care for it, I can live with that, but I don’t do so well with being ignored and squashed – which has been the case now since the mid 80s.  Here is the link to my YouTube channel:  https://www.youtube.com/user/Ikaika1955 .  If any of you reading this should want to take a look at the guy who is writing this stuff (that’s me), please feel free, and please don’t hesitate to comment either here or at YouTube, or both.

One last point.  If there were a bunch of great artists out there, making great music, I wouldn't be saying any of these things, and I wouldn't feel so bad about being ignored and squashed.  But, that's not the case, as I've said more times than I can count, the calibre of most artists is horrid, they have no substance, no talent, no real ability, and would have no appeal if not for the expensive but deceptive hype that is employed by the major record labels.

They Still Won't Face Me...

 

If I could, I would move here in a red hot second, leave technology, crowds, pollution, noise, and people's bullshit as far behind me as I possibly could.

Well, here we go again – or should I say still.  I just recently discovered that both Google and YouTube – not coincidentally owned by the same people – have buried everything to do with me – my videos, my website, my blog, Facebook account, Twitter account.  Just to compare, I googled a few people that I knew – old acquaintances, musicians I met over the years – it was very easy to find them – their websites, articles, and whatever else.  If you type my name, along with any term – guitar, ukulele, music, lap steel guitar, anything, there will be no listings for me.  A couple of searches will take you, though, to a Facebook page that has listings of any person or company that contains the name you’re searching for, but that’s Facebook’s site, not relative to any particular person, and Google cannot very well bury Facebook’s listings page.  Now, I went to Bing, and found me very easily – just as I did with all the other people I searched for on Google.  They left me a few crumbs, though, there were a couple of times when I found a listing for one of my CD listings on CD Baby – on page 4, 5, or so – maybe they did that for a reason, or maybe they’re just not aware of those, don’t know.

Ok, now for YouTube.  Back around 2006, 07, and 08, I was fairly active on political and social issues on YouTube.  After a few months I seemed to have been accepted by what appeared to be an elite group of activists who were saying much the same as I was.  We were, of course, all labeled as “Anti-semites”.  Most of us were not particularly against Jewish people, but as with certain groups, if you question or point out their wrongdoings, they will accuse you of being racist, bigoted, and whatever else – nothing more than cheap tactics employed by cowardly people whose sole intent is to shut any person up who they do not agree with, or whose beliefs they don’t approve of.  For the record, I don’t give a rat’s behind what color, race, ethnic background, or country you belong to, I treat everybody the same – with respect and kindness unless given a reason not to.  After the whole “Anti-semite” farce, I had 2 or 3 of my YouTube channels shut down.  There was also the fact that for two years or so, somebody at YouTube was manually blocking my comments.  I’d be in a debate with some smartass who was trying to shut me up – calling me filthy names, accusing me of this and that, when after a few exchanges, my comments would freeze, and not post.  Funny though, if I would post something not relevant to the debate, it would go through just fine.  It was during that time that I picked up a couple of stalkers – they were relentless, they dug up things about me, they knew my son’s name, found other comments at YouTube that were totally apart from any of the political and social stuff – and made from an account other than the one I used for the political and social stuff.  Somebody suggested that they may have been paid to stalk me like that.  Add to that, Google buried my photography website – it went from page one (of listings) to I don’t even know – I never did find it by searching – the only way was to link to it, or type the address in the address bar.  It went from page one to oblivion in a matter of less than week.  So, fast forward to a few days ago, I typed my name in YouTube’s search bar, and lo and behold, none of my videos would show up – even as far as page 20 or so.  I did find it a little strange that my videos were getting 1, 2, 10, and 15 views over a year, two or three – which is why I finally thought to google me, and look for me at YouTube.  Before all my political and social activism, there were a couple of my videos that had over 10,000 views in a relatively short period of time.

Well, this, along with some other sneaky, underhanded things that go on around here, has made it beyond obvious that somebody, a group of sombebodies, or more than one group of somebodies, is afraid of me, or threatened by me – maybe for my political and social views, and how effective they saw me as being back when I was active.  It could be that they’re afraid that if I were to ever gain a bigger platform to speak from, that I would be some kind of threat.  It could also be that they just want to punish me for saying things they don’t like or approve of.

I really don’t have answers, and this stuff goes on all day, every day.  One thing for sure, something is rotten in Denmark.

A Compilation Of Some Of My Tweets

I miss the TV repairman, the appliance repairman, the seamstress, the vacuum cleaner repairman, the cobbler, the tailor, the local furniture maker, the local machine shop, the local car repair shop, local restaurants where you can get real home cooked meals, the local coffee shop, the mom & pop hardware store. Thanks to the fact that Capitalism has morphed into Monopolism, these true small businesses are gone forever in America as we know it. In their place are money mongering, blood thirsty parasites who have no problem screwing their customers as well as their workers. But, we must all be thankful, focus on the good, ignore the bad, so that we can all be good little American citizens, and an endless source of revenue for the rich and the ruthless.

Great philosophers have changed the world by influencing people with their words, yet there are still those who find it hip & cool to parrot such horseshit as "You cannot change what other people do". Does nobody see the gross stupidity in parroting without thinking? That's not to mention the damage done by taking this stuff outside of its full context. "There is no god who would allow your bullshit to be in his world". "There is no god". "Who would allow your bullshit to be in his world".  Context, context, context. Again I ask, what the hell do I know O_O ?

Many shining spirits have been broken by vindictive mediocre minds. It's the way of the world. A shining spirit is not something you're born with, it's something you build. The small minded & the devoid of character will always see a shining spirit as a nuisance & a threat, & will seek to destroy it. Most people don't care to be a shining spirit, they would rather be small minded, mediocre, and vindictive.

So autism is now an epidemic. Well, DUH. I believe the number of cases is directly proportional to the ever increasing amount of chemical SHIT that is put in our food. And autism ain't the half of it BTW, the TV show talking about this gave every reason except the glaring one.

Had to say this in my internet life AND my non internet life: Trying to "make it", getting your music heard by the masses, booking shows entering contests, making connections, getting people to listen - not like going to Pizza Hut & ordering a fuckin' pizza. It's honing your.. craft & abilities, hard work, taking risks, doing without lots of things, having the right attitude, putting up with endless bullshit... being belittled, mocked, ridiculed, and otherwise bullied, chasing all over the world to try to find the right place to be, and by far the worst part - LUCK, dreaded, horribly unfair, horribly biased towards the sneaky & the cowardly - goddam stinking LUCK. So, all of you who have names for me, who judge me, point fingers at me, bully me, belittle me, what do you do when the person on the receiving end of your... crap finally "makes it"? Oh yeah, you fucking pretend you were on his team supporting him the whole goddam time. FTR, throwing him a bone now & then does not entitle you to screw with him. Also also, this is not directed at any one person, I have a list ten miles long.

Never underestimate the fragility & desperation of the human ego.

According to statistics I've seen, there is not a single "Charity" that sends more than TWO PERCENT of the donations to the actual cause the starving and dying people, abused and abandoned animals. In all cases, some rich pieces of dirt are keeping all that money for themselves.

There are people who believe that if you feed a wild animal, that it won't be able to feed itself.  HUH? So, if we feed them once in a while, their genes just magically jump out of their bodies, and they no longer know how to get food?  Animals are injured and abandoned, rescued by humans, kept in captivity, fed, housed, and whatever else, for months, & even years, get back out into the wild and do just fine.  This is just more of the same - pretentious numbskulls who will Polly Want A Cracker anything they hear, without knowing what the hell they're talking about; no research, no facts, just spitting up any BS they hear so they can have the illusion that other people think they're smart.

National Security, my ass.  It's a nice hiding place for the rich and the ruthless, but it's 100% pure BULLSHIT.

When you cheat, and when you bully, you're doing nothing more than admitting that you are inferior to whoever or whatever is in front of you.  Jealousy, envy, gloating, bullying & cheating are all code for "I'm as sniveling and pathetic as any person could possibly be".

I have to wonder why nobody has done any real investigating on chemtrails. Those planes have to take off and land SOMEWHERE. Or, maybe some have, and they're swimming with the fishes.  I suspect the latter.

If I don't have certain abilities, or I'm not willing to work hard & get good at something, then neither should anybody else.  So, if I cross paths with any of you son of a bitches who do these things, I will do ANYTHING to take you down. Famous last words of the lazy, the inept, the stupid, & the vindictive.

There were some civilizations that didn't have money, prisons, thieves, or any government.  Nobody starved, nobody was allowed greed.  I vote to bring back that kind of community.  My guess is that there were a hell of a lot fewer, if any, angry, vindictive, envious people in.. such civilizations. Fact is that we're stuck with this asinine money based society, and the result is that people will continue to steal manipulate, control, and murder each other. AND, most people think it's working, and is perfectly ok. I say again, what a f'n joke.

Boy meets girl, boy marries girl, boy "provides" for girl, then beats the crap out of girl once a week.  Which defines the guy, and which defines the relationship?  And there are some who think that the girl should be f'n thankful.  This is because society is based on the almighty but life destroying dollar. What a joke.

As Usual, I Lost

I’ve been on the receiving end of bullies from fucking hell since 2006.  That's not something I'm cryng about, it's just a reality - as a result of things I had absolutely nothing to do with.  It amazes me how sadistic and vindictive so many people can be – especially when they have the upper hand.  You know what’s even more funny – the fact that these are all full grown adults, not kids in middle school or grade school – but full grown but pathetic adults.

I’ve been doing everything humanly possible to get my life back – ever since I got back to the States in 2009 – after a horrible 3-1/2 years in the third world country known as Peru.  I have music that has been accepted by Pandora, the songs have been there for a couple of months.  Of course, it takes time (months) for it to get heard, then more time (more months) to get into the payout system.  In short, I think the clock won.  I have held my tongue while being sniped at, bossed, corrected, and bullied to beat hell for the most part of the past five years.  I realize that cheap insults say everything about the insulter, and nothing about the insultee, and that has kept me from firing back most of the time.  The handful of times when I did fire back, it’s “Ok, then get the fuck out…”.  If I dare to stand up for myself, dare to state my differing opinion, dare to defend my position, and it’s, “Ok, then GET THE FUCK OUT”.  I’ve been treated by somebody who claims to care about me – treated worse than some people treat their dog.  I’ve said many times, financial “support” does not entitle a person to abuse anyone, and I’ll be damned if I’m going to be THANKFUL for being beat up on whenever a person feels the need to beat up on somebody.  I’ve always felt for the women who were forced to endure this kind of thing, but even moreso now that I’ve lived it – and to think it’s the woman doing the abusing, threatening, and bullying, with not a goddam thing I can do about it.  I don’t care about all the macho bullshit that gets spread around, because there are certain realities that are present, and all the badass speak in the world will not change it.  Oh yeah, and I don’t smoke, drink, do drugs, gamble, mess around, or spend money frivolously, and I do many things to contribute in whatever ways possible.  I’ve always managed to keep my head, except for the few times I had to back some belligerent, bullying ass off of me – after being pushed and pushed and pushed.

Should I succeed in getting a decent income before I end up being thrown out into the street, then great, but it’s possible, probably even likely, that it will not go that way.  Should it not, I won’t be sad about it, but after everything else the universe, with the help of boatloads of cowardly, vindictive people, has done to me, I will not be tossed out into the street.  Should this bully from hell wreak her revenge by tossing me out, then the Powers That Be will have one less insolent to deal with, and let me tell you, I won’t miss this sadistic place one tiny bit.
